Conscious Capitalism San Diego Presents:
Conscious Curiosity SD
Welcome to Conscious Curiosity SD, the podcast that provides the back story of local successful San Diego Leaders who bring hope, inspiration and purpose to the work they do and the people they lead. Conscious Curiosity is sponsored by Conscious Capitalism San Diego, and is hosted by Jeff Blanton from Jailbreak Leadership.
Conscious Capitalism calls for a different type of leadership. Leaders that seek a higher purpose for their business beyond profit that positively impacts all the stakeholders beyond the shareholder – employees, customers, vendors and the community they work in.
In this podcast, we will explore why they have come to lead in this way, the rewards and challenges of being a conscious leader and their vision for the future for their business and the community of San Diego.
Jeff Blanton | Host

Jeff is a recognized leadership consultant, author and speaker. Even with the success of money and position, Jeff found himself in a state of “smoldering discontent.” In his own pursuit of achieving deeper satisfaction from the work he did, it became clear how few people were able to embrace who they were at their best. His solution gave birth to the Jailbreak Leadership Process. For driven individuals who yearn for more—where life has deeper meaning and stronger impact—Jeff’s approach helps leaders understand how much richer their work can truly be and the impact and legacy they can create through their business.
Jeff spent 20 years in Corporate America, including leadership in a successful medical device start-up. He has been a serial entrepreneur since 2000. He is the founder and partner of several consulting companies and a popular keynote speaker for corporations, nonprofits, government agencies and business leaders bringing his passion, energy and expert knowledge to everyone seeking to go to the next level.
Jeff jumped on the chance to host the Conscious Curiousity Podcast to help the movement of Conscious Capitalism in San Diego. The tenets of Conscious Capitalism are completely in line with Jeff’s goals for, Make Work Meaningful by creating a higher purpose beyond profit for both the company and employees, embracing the concept of Servant Leadership, establishing strong values as guiding principle for how work gets done and belief in honoring all stakeholders.
Jeff lives in San Diego with his wife and is having the time of his life, doubling down on his personal purpose to help others mobilize their biggest possibilities and make work meaningful.
